Is it possible to get a Masters in Aerospace engineering in sweden and then get the ph.d from an american uni?

like, if i get my M.S in aerospace engineering with great points from a Swedish university, and then apply for a university in USA?? (MIT if i got the points or whatever they're called).

Ensure that your program is accredited by an American or, perhaps, an internationally-recognized governing agency. I would contact ABET and ask them directly.
That said, you may still not reduce your overall time in your PhD program. I would also contact the doctoral program of your choice and research the benefits (if any) of having already acquired a masters degree.

I would think that any legitimate Swedish university would have its degrees recognized in the United States.

I don't believe it is possible, unless there have been major changes. My foreign education was never recognized. I had to start from scratch. I know of licensed medical doctors who had to start all over, to be able to practice in the United States. Foreign Degrees are not recognized.
